With their doors closed for nearly an entire summer, The Fox Theater, situated on The Hill in Boulder, will be re-opening with a new roof this Thursday, August 2nd. Welcoming back music fans with the vintage rock sounds of the West Water Outlaws, The Fox is expecting a packed house for this rowdy performance. Branded Bandits and A Good Day in a Bad Town will be getting things started with a 9 p.m. show time.
The West Water Outlaws are taking the music scene by storm with earth shattering rhythm and ricocheting melodies. This blues-rock band incorporates a jam-style performance, as their riffs appear effortless and organic. As the late Wendy Kale put it, their sound is, “The Doors meets The Black Keys.”
With every musical genre exponentially growing and talent popping up everywhere it can be difficult to differentiate the fun from the truly talented. Make no mistake that the West Water Outlaws leave no room for questioning their musical genius. Combining explosive lyrics, fiery percussion and salacious strums this rock band has what it takes to create a lasting impression that is sure to rouse a crowd time and again.
Be sure to catch them at The Fox Theater this Thursday, August 2nd; you’re in for an auditory treat not to be forgotten! Check out their latest music video, "Real Killer," above.
