Emily Equi

Emily is a recent Denver transplant from the southeast where she had spent the last year traveling extensively to shoot shows. She is the owner of Audible Imagery, the name under which she has been photographing shows for the last year. While she listens mostly to electronic music these days, she still loves those things called bands. Her favorites include Bob Dylan, The White Stripes, GRiZ, and Emancipator. Favorite Moment When Prestons’ gear collapsed on him, he caught his (very heavy) keyboard and continued to play till the end of the song.

In My Opinion While I fell in love with Virtual Boy for their 16 bit remixes it was nice to see the evolution in their music since I had seen them over a year ago. Their sound is refreshingly unique, and I look forward to their next visit to Denver.

FYI Virtual Boy just announced their summer tour including appearances at Electric Forest, Camp Bisco, and Wakarusa.

The Bad When the speakers blew out during Project Aspect’s set, Jay Jaramillo managed to keep the momentum of the crowd going despite the slight lull in music.
