Noam Silkoff

Noam is your typical wandering Jew. Born in Israel, lived in Toronto, now residing in downtown Denver, and holds UK, Israeli and American citizenships. His family boasts many musical talents which he apparently missed out on. He is a fan of all different types of music ranging from reggae to hip-hop, classic rock, and of course, EDM. After capturing his wild adventures of going to shows with a shitty point and shoot camera, he decided to start a music website, which somehow led to Swaager. His drinks of choice include Jameson and PBR and if you see him out without a v-neck on, he must be having an off-night. He enjoys nothing more than being at a show - it includes anything and everything you could ever ask for: music, girls, and booze. Follow Noam on Twitter: @volecule

Who: The Magic Beans
Where: Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom
Opener: Technicolor Tone Factory and SOAP

The Scene: Cervantes Other Side was packed full of loyal fans and friends. Fellow Denver-based musicians from Samsonite and The Malah joined the happy crowd, dancing long after last call, clapping and shouting along to The Magic Beans’ set.

Favorite Moment: During the last quarter of the Beans’ set, green and blue lasers unexpectedly shot into the air, scanning the enthusiastic crowd.

The Good: Technicolor Tone Factory’s lead vocalist and bassist, Zach Johnson, turned heads that night with his hearty, show-stopping vocals. TTF definitely held their own as an opening act, playing more like a co-headliner.

FYI: The Beans clearly adore their fans. Not only did they release a live recording of the show and organize a Bus To Show (which included a ticket and whiskey) for only $10, they also offered free copies of their self-titled album to each fan who entered the Other Side that night.
