Didn't get your hands on a ticket in time to see Schoolboy Q and Danny Brown two weeks ago when they played a sold-out show at The Ogden with ASAP Rocky? Well, it must be your lucky day because they will be returning to our fine Front Range this Thursday to play CU Program Council's Hip-Hop Homecoming 2012. I don't usually condone extracurricular activities at CU Boulder because most of them are a total waste of time (CU Football anyone? No...didn't think so) but Program Council is actually an organized and noble cause so if there is one campus sponsored exception you make this year, let this show be it.
Program Council has done an awesome job of bringing diverse acts to play Homecoming every year and 2012's Hip-Hop themed affair will definitely be a nice way to cure your week-long Halloweekend hangover or maybe even keep the dream alive until the weekend comes aroundagain on Friday. As always, CU will be bringing in some local talent to open up for the Detroit (Danny Brown) and Compton (Schoolboy Q) based headliners so make sure you get there early to support Boulder's own Be Good as he throws down some dirty trap jams. Doors open and music starts at 8:30 PM in Glenn Miller Ballroom, tickets are $3.00 for students ($5.00 day of show), and $10.00 for non-students, so you have no excuse to not catch the show this time around!
