ill-Mannered is having an amazing 2012. The Denver based trio, consisting of two EDM producers and one live drummer, each with their own extensive musical past in every which genre, have been blowing up shows around Colorado as of late, including opening for local legends EOTO. They are set to play at Sonic Bloom, a four day outdoors camping music festival in Georgetown, Co. this weekend. They play at 7:00pm on Saturday.

Just in time for the Sonic Bloom, Ill-Mannered is throwing out a new remix of the club hit, “Drank In My Cup,” by Kirko Bangz. They turn Bangz version into an Electro Dubhouse banger, grooving effortlessly between hip-hop and RnB style drums, heavy dubstep whomps and tempo alongside groovey vocal breaks and bass synths. The production value is HiGH, the beats tight knit and face cringing, and the melody is nice’n catchy. If I didn’t know Top 40, I would have thought they invited Kirko into their studio to rap over their original mix. Basically, that is what’s going down, and the song will be an awesome one to hear with the many other originals and remixes at the group’s live set this Saturday.
