Join Swaager and Denver-based rock band The Congress this Friday for a celebration to remember for their first full-length album release, Whatever You Want. This, “first and foremost rock and roll album,” combines elements of Southern rock, indie-rock, outlaw country, soul, African-style American folk, and jazz. Power trio Jonathan Meadows, Scott Lane, and Mark Levy created this LP with the “mindset that the craft of songwriting and the life-long dedication to playing a musical instrument is still alive and kicking.”
While some members have come and gone over the years, The Congress’ current line-up with Meadows on vox/bass, Lane on guitar, and Levy on drums has taken them to the next level.
Garnering much attention lately from many media outlets, we suspect The Congress’ success will continue to grow. You won’t want to miss Friday’s show and what better way to ring in Cinco de Mayo!
If you purchase your tickets in advance, here only, you’ll receive 3 tracks from The Congress’ LP Whatever You Want and 1 track from Oak Creek Band’s album, Fingerprints.
