Hailing from South Carolina, Archnemesis will be hitting The Bluebird Theater in Denver, Colorado tonight with openers ill-Mannered and Dynohunter. With the recent release of their second full length album, Every Man for Himself, this show will be a holiday treat for those who attend. With their distinctive sound Justin Aubuchon and Curt Heiny create original music with samples ranging from early 20’s blues and jazz to modern hip-hop and soul. They have been influenced by 70′s funk, horns, strings, and might even steal a kick from a Brittany Spears song if it sounds clean.
From their first gig together two years ago at the Brooklyn Tavern in Colombia, SC, Archnemesis has burst on to the electronic scene. Their tour has been running strong and goes through the end of the year. Believing in the philosophy of free music, the band gives away all their albums, EP’s, and remixes away gratis on their website, www.archnemesismusic.com. When asked why they give away their music Justin Aubuchon says, “The more people that hear it, the more people that can get it, and we give it away, the more people we see at shows. That’s more people that we can have fun with and that helps build a fan base.”
Presented by Souls in Action, tonight's show promises to be a raging good time. With Thanksgiving tomorrow, there is no better way to start you holiday with Archnemesis. This is going to be one of the must see shows of the holiday season.
