Wakarusa has thrilled music fans worldwide with their third and final line-up release today.  Breaking up the announcements over the past three weeks, each line-up report brought anticipation, relief and then more anxiety as fans waited for every last artist to be publicized.

This nail-biting tactic sure paid off, Wakarusa seems to be the talk of every town.  Swaager smiled when our homegrown Pretty Lights popped up as a headliner.  Then we knew it was gonna get down right Ozark dirty when Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Soja, MartyParty and Wick-It the Instigator flashed across the screen in week one.

Hearts skipped a beat when the second announcement blasted Primus and Umphrey’s McGee as headliners.  We couldn’t have been more pleased with new favs such as Fitz & the Tantrums, Toubab Krewe, Dirtfoot and local Nathaniel Rateliff joined the line-up.

Today’s final bulletin affirmed Swaager’s attendance at the most anticipated summer festival of 2012.  Savoy, Gramatik and Michal Menert (read our interview with him here) are “no brainers.”  We are definitely looking forward to seeing Break Science, EOTO, and NiT GriT.  Finally, we are thrilled to see a Swaager and Denver adored band, The Lumineers, added to the bill.  Catch our interview with them here!

As an official media partner of Wakarusa you can expect Swaager to bring music fans everywhere up-to-the-moment scoop on artists and festival details.  Stay with us all the way through June 3rd for exclusive coverage and exciting news.

If you haven’t bought your festival ticket yet, grab ‘em before they’re gone! Oh, and don’t forget your early bird camping pass and bug spray.  We’ll see ya in Arkansas!
